Gardnerville resident Audree B. Phillips, 87, died June 13, 2010, at Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center.
Born Jan. 17, 1923, in New Sharon, Iowa, to John and Lora June Phillips, she retired from Pacific Telephone as an engineering aide in 1979 and moved to Walker. She moved to Gardnerville in 1997.
Ms. Phillips enjoyed traveling, sports, working crossword puzzles, gaming and spending time on her computer.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Vance and Lowell; sisters Lois Fleener, Mildred Reiner, Phyllis Williams, Avis VerSteegh, Betty Cassill and friend Barbara Prince.
She is survived by brothers John and Lawrance; sister Ruth Hanson and numerous nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are being handled by FitzHenry's Carson City.
