Carson Valley Medical Center has named Marcus Armstrong chief financial officer for the organization, which includes the hospital, CVMC Complete Care, CVMC Senior Care, Job's Peak Family Medicine, Job's Peak Internal Medicine & Family Practice, Job's Peak General Surgery and Topaz Ranch Medical Clinic.
Armstrong has a background in healthcare finance, including experience with critical access hospitals. He is a certified public accountant and has a MBA in health care management.
In his new role, Armstrong oversees the accounting, purchasing, medical records, and centralized registration departments for Carson Valley Medical Center.
