Trio arrested in Douglas, Carson cocaine sales

Two brothers and a 15-year-old boy were arrested Wednesday on multiple drug charges after a two-month investigation into cocaine trafficking in Douglas County and Carson City.

The arrests were made in Carson City by the Douglas County Sheriff's Office Street Enforcement Team and the Tri-Net Task Force.

They seized more than 12 grams of cocaine, three marijuana plants, several thousand dollars, a 9mm semi-automatic handgun and three motor vehicles.

Aurelio Cervantes-Carillo, 26, was charged with trafficking in a controlled substance, a felony. He is being held in Douglas County Jail on $25,000 cash bail.

He appeared Friday in East Fork Justice Court where Judge Jim EnEarl appointed Tod Young to represent him. Cervantes-Carillo is due back in court July 7.

Taurino Cervantes-Carillo, 38, was booked in Carson City Jail.

The 15-year-old, Taurino Cervantes-Carillo's son, was booked into the Carson City Juvenile Detention Center for trafficking in controlled substances, cocaine.

Officers served search and arrest warrants at 2580 Bunch Way and 2901 Lorraine St. in Carson City on Wednesday.

During the investigation, they conducted several surveillance operations and observed multiple drug transactions in Douglas County and Carson City.
