Take responsibility

EDITOR:

Throughout history, hate and prejudice have been a necessity.

Singling out an ethnic or religious group for ridicule and scorn seems to make people feel better about themselves.

Now here in Nevada, Sen. Harry Reid has been singled out. Anti-Harry signs are appearing in yards, on cars and even T-shirts. It makes me wonder what happened to love thy neighbor. Maybe everyone should stop playing the blame game.

It appears to me that anger and hate are so rampant in Nevada that people cannot wait until November to express their dissatisfaction in the voting booth.

Harry Reid is not responsible for our current economic crisis. We each must take responsibility for the choices we made. Please don't try to lay your problems at his feet. Instead of hatred and scorn, pray for enlightenment.
