The top-ranked Miners handed Douglas its first loss to a Northern Nevada opponent this season in Reno Saturday night to maintain possession of first place in the Sierra League.
Douglas dropped to 5-1 in league play with the loss and will host Carson Friday night at 7 p.m.
MANOGUE 53, DOUGLAS 51
The Lady Tigers fell just short at Manogue as the Miners managed to hold on to their perfect league record Saturday night in Reno.
Douglas dropped to 1-5 in league play and will host rival Carson Friday night at 5:15 p.m.
