Thanks for saving my life

How do you thank someone for saving your life? We often have friends over for Sunday brunch and football. On the first Sunday of the new year, they arrived in yellow and red fire trucks and ambulances.

A terrific lady at 911 sent them.

I'm so glad they came. There seemed to be a lot of people here and the angels who came with me to the hospital were Brian Trute, Jeff Marsh and Paul Azevedo.

While two of them worked to keep me alive, the driver maneuvered around an idiot who wouldn't give them the right of way on Carson Street near the capitol. We all wound up with bruises.

These paramedics came to Minden from Sunridge Station 12 and will reside in my heart and memory forever.
