Great acts come to Carson Valley

Mid-winter blues getting you down? Looking to kick up your heels a bit? Then look no further than right here in Douglas County where the Carson Valley Arts Council will present its third installment of the Winter Concert Series featuring "Fishtank Ensemble." The upbeat music this group plays defies specific genres but in their own words can be described as "Fusion/Gypsy Rock."

If this catches your curiosity then come on down and check them out. The concert will be held at the CVIC Hall on Jan. 22. As a volunteer with the arts council it has been my pleasure to be involved with bringing high quality acts like "Fishtank Ensemble" to our Valley.
