Helps to spawn 'good persons'

If I may, a brief response to Mr. Greg Silvestro.

First, my letter was not to the editor, and was not intended to publication, but was simply directed to the author of the article, and it never dawned on me that my letter would appear in print because I feared that a publication might provoke a response such as yours. And permit me to add that the subject of my letter dealt not with one individual, but rather with a contemporary circumstance. For that, no apology is necessary.

By the way, what does an undergarment, a corset, have to do with flesh bearing? Do you know of a more important task given to mankind than that assigned to the female of our species? It helps of course if both genders spawn "good persons."
