The Pau-Wa-Lu Middle School Choir and Steel Drum Band will be featured in the "John Tyson's Christmas Special," airing 11 p.m. Friday on KOLO-TV Channel 8.
The band and choir were invited to sing at the Genoa Lakes Housing Association for their Christmas party earlier this month. While they were there, John Tyson from KOLO-TV heard them perform and told their director, Tammy Owens, he would like both groups to perform for his Christmas Eve special.
Tyson taped performances from both groups at Pau-Wa-Lu on Tuesday for the "John Tyson's Christmas Special."
