Twila E. Moman

A memorial service is 4-8 p.m. today at the Chapel of the Hills in Auburn, Calif., for Dresslerville resident Carson Valley native Twila E. Moman, 83, who died at her home on Dec. 9, 2010. A funeral service is 11 a.m. Saturday at Spring Garden Indian Cemetery in Foresthill, Calif.

Born Feb. 25, 1927, in Minden to Eugene and Mildred George Lutez, she attended 12 years of education.

She worked as a caregiver for 30 years. She enjoyed working in her garden.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, three sisters and a stepson.

She is survived by stepdaughter Deyetta Momon; stepsons Comas and Ronnie; sister Romone Keller, three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and great-great-great grandchildren.

Arrangements are in the care of FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home.
