The Cordes Cousins sign copies of their book, "Frieda's Files," a collection of historical short stories about Carson Valley by Frieda Cordes Godecke, 4:30-8 p.m. Thursday, at Joyce's Fine Jewelry in Gardnerville.

"Frieda's Files" is available for sale at Joyce's, the Carson Valley Museum & Cultural Center and Battle Born Wine in Gardnerville, Tumblewind Antiques in Minden, Genoa Courthouse Museum and the Dancing Deer in Genoa, and the Nevada State Museum in Carson City.
