East Fork firefighters from Sunridge Station 12 are providing back-up to Carson City while the capital's firefighters are working on a fire behind the Ormsby House.
The fire at 702 S. Curry St. has destroyed a barn, a travel trailer and half of the home. Neighboring homes were evacuated.
Fire crews were able to prevent the fire from spreading to an office building adjacent to the rear of the barn.
