Updates on former Tiger standouts

Chris Balcom-Miller, P, Asheville Tourists (Rockies Single-A): Balcom-Miller is expected to play for the Single-A Asheville Tourists once he returns to action, but he is currently rehabbing an injury.


Jordan Hadlock, soph., C, Cal Poly: Cal Poly has started 11 games for the Mustangs and played in 24 total. He is batting .333 with a double, a triple and six RBIs. In the field, he is tied for the team lead in fielding percentage at 1.000.


Ryan Laing, jr., 1B, New Mexico State: The Aggies swept a four-game series from Sacramento State over the weekend.


Niko Saladis, jr., OF, Southwest Baptist: Saladis is batting .291 on the year and has started all 46 games for Southwest Baptist. He has five doubles, three triples, one home run and 26 RBIs to go with nine stolen bases.


Cory Eilers, jr., OF, William Jewell: Results and stats not available.


Roman Davis, jr., C, Ashford: The Saints beat William Penn 10-9 last week but lost a trio of games to Iowa Wesleyan. Davis is batting .287 on the year with six doubles, a triple, a home run and 33 RBIs.


Tyler May, fr., P/OF, Western Nevada: May is out for the season after shoulder surgery. The Wildcats are currently riding a 12-game win streak. The Wildcats went 1-3 againt Southern Idaho last week.


Troy Torres, fr., INF, Allan Hancock College: Allan Hancock has won eight of its last 10 games, splitting a pair against Santa Barbara City College last week.


Beau Davis, fr., C, Allan Hancock College: Allan Hancock beat College of the Canyons and lost to Oxnard last week. Davis is batting .308 on the year with three RBIs.


Tyler Hoelzen, fr., P, Feather River: The Golden Eagles extended their win streak to 18 with a pair of wins over Butte College last week. Hoelzen leads the team with a 1.70 ERA to go with a 5-2 record on the mound with 22 strikeouts and 17 walks in 42 innings pitched.


Jeff Crozier, fr., SS, Lassen: Crozier has started all 33 games for Lassen and is batting .203 on the year with three doubles and 15 RBIs.


Jeff Young, jr., OF, Siskiyous: Young is batting .319 on the year with eight doubles, two home runs and 14 RBIs.

Stephanie Harper, fr., OF/P, Concord: Harper is batting .276 with 10 doubles, three home runs and 25 RBIs on the year. She is carrying a 2-2 record on the year with a 3.26 ERA, 16 strikeouts and 18 walks in 30 innings pitched.

Ryan Bertucci, sr., Chico State: Bertucci posted a PR leap of 7 feet in the high jump at the Cal-Oregon Border Battle over the weekend. The leap was the second best of the year in the CCAA, the sixth best in the nation and the third best in Chico State history. It was also an NCAA provisional qualifying mark. His performance also garnder CCAA athlete of the week honors.


Skylar Young, jr., Chico State: Young took second in the 800 with a time of 2:23.27 and ran a leg on the second-place 4x400 relay team.


Nick Lonnegren, sr., Chico State: Lonnegren won the 400 at the Cal-Oregon Border Battle over the weekend with a personal best time of 49.29 seconds. That ranks as the sixth-fastest time among runners in the CCAA this year. Lonnegren also ran legs on the winning 4x100 and third-place 4x400 relay teams.
