The Genoa Cowboy Poetry & Music Festival on April 29-May 2 includes concerts by cowboy poets and Western entertainers Waddie Mitchell, Paul Zarzyski, Dave Stamey, Don Edwards, Sourdough Slim and Richard Elloyan.
The event includes tours, cowboy dinners, a juried Western art show, 80 workshops on Western and Native American history and culture, open mic nights and square dancing.
The cost of a one-day pass is $20, two-day pass is $35. Concerts and special events range from $10 to $35.
