A 50-year-old Ranchos woman pleaded guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia and petty theft admitting she stole two bottles of alcohol from a Gardnerville grocery store. Laura Cole was sentenced to two 90-day suspended sentences and placed on probation for one year.
She was caught with two bottles of liquor in her purse as she left the store.
According to reports, Cole was under surveillance because she was suspected of earlier thefts.
