Longtime Gardnerville resident Mary Anne O'Neal, 64, died Aug. 28, 2009, at the family ranch in Gridley, Calif., with her husband by her side after a prolonged battle with pancreatic cancer.
Born Nov. 20, 1944, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Herman and Orvina Andrews, she lived in the Carson Valley from July 1970 until July 2008, when she moved to Redding to seek treatment for her cancer.
Mrs. O'Neal is survived by her husband Lonnie; children Jerry, Cheryl, Kathy, Janice and Raymond; and her parents Herman and Orvina Andrews; brother Herman (Dani) Andrews of Minden; 12 grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; many nieces and nephews; sister-in-Law Barbara JoAnn Shepherd of Gridley and other extended family.
