Miracles for Becca Saturday

As 11-year-old Rebecca Martin, who was struck by a car in August, continues to make progress in a rehabilitation center in Southern California, another benefit has been organized to raise money for her family.

Miracles Happen for Becca is 5-8 p.m. Saturday at High Sierra Fellowship, 1426 Industrial Way, Gardnerville.

Admission is free for a silent auction, live music, performance painting with Ben Hubbard, puppet show, kids raffle and dessert auction.

A pasta dinner from 5-6:30 p.m. costs $10 for adults and $25 for families. Dinner tickets may be purchased at Baby Willow's in Gardnerville, Tumbleweed Gymnastics in Minden and Tile Outlet in Carson City.

All proceeds from the event benefit the Martin family. For information, call Cary Jackson at 783-1063 or 450-6123.
