The weather is the big news today as a Pacific storm rolls inland today bringing a wind advisory lasting from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and a high wind warning from 5 p.m. today until 5 a.m. Wednesday. According to the National Weather Service, the wind will blow 20-30 mph with gusts of 50 mph today. Tonight the wind will be 25-35 mph with gusts of up to 65 mph. The rain will hit sometime in the afternoon, with an inch expected, according to the forecast.
A light drizzle was falling in Genoa this morning at about 7:30 a.m.
