Rob Wigton of Minden has been named the new chief executive officer for the Nevada Association of Realtors.
Wigton comes to the position with nearly 15 years of experience as an owner/manager of a real estate firm in Minden. He served as president of the Sierra Nevada Association of Realtors in 2004-05 and as the president of the Nevada Association of Realtors in 2008.
He was awarded the NVAR Realtor of the Year Award in 2008. He was recently named a Hall of Fame member of the Realtors Political Action Committee, recognizing his lifetime contributions.
The Nevada Association of Realtors is a professional trade association with more than 16,500 members. NVAR is committed to protecting, promoting and preserving communities.
