The in-home craft show includes stocking stuffers, gifts, crafts, holiday decorations, jewelry, decorated clothing, baby blankets, hair ornaments, quilts and blankets, toys and pet items.

The show benefits local area charities including Austin's House, Back Pack Buddies and the Kids' Fishing Derby.

We are a group of local crafters, ranging in age from 16 to 84, who are very proud of what we do, and our service to the community. This is an in-home show where we remove all of the furniture from my home and bring in display equipment and tents for the back deck. The format is different from your usual show for three reasons:

1. There are no booths or separate areas. All crafters work as a team and there is one check-out area. We find that customers are much more comfortable feeling free to wander and shop without a starving crafter watching them.

2. All products are strictly juried, and there are no mass-produced items. We are well known for our unique items and our reasonable prices. This year we are introducing a new area, called Wacky and Wonderful Christmas Gift Room. We are doing this because of the economy. We feel that people are spending more cautiously, but they don't want to give up Christmas. We are striving to come up with unusual and thoughtful gift items that will not show up at Walmart for half price the day after Christmas.

3. We stress customer service. Our focus is to make shopping enjoyable and stress free. We serve coffee, tea and cookies at check out, accept Visa and Mastercard, and supply baskets for shopping convenience.

We are proud sponsors of several local charities, including Austin's House Carson Valley Children's Center, Back Pack Buddies (a program designed to supply food on weekends to local school who do not have enough to eat at home, currently run through Scarcelli School), and the Kids' Fishing Derby.

We had over 550 people shop with us in three days last year.
