Nina Major is the featured artist at the Copeland Cultural Arts Center in October. Major creates watercolor paintings of natural subjects emphasizing realistic details in her Nature Portrait series. Aspens, sea turtles and tropical subjects are her favorite subjects.

The Copeland Cultural Arts Center is at 1572 Highway 395 in Minden. Regular hours are noon to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Information, (775) 781-0150.
