A memorial service is 1 p.m. Oct. 17 at Carson Valley United Methodist Church for Edward Thomas Caraway, 93, who died Aug. 31, 2009, in San Jose, Calif., after a short illness.
Born Dec. 31, 1915, he is survived by his wife of 69 years, Gretchen Caraway; and two daughters, Jeane Wood and Sharon Lutman.
The church is located at 1375 Centerville Lane in Gardnerville.
