Banjo player featured in Oklahoma museum

Valley residents Georgette Twain and daughter Cecilia Yale attended the opening of the American Banjo Museum in Oklahoma City, Okla., on Sept. 10.

Twain is featured in an exhibit in the new museum as a 2007 Hall of Fame inductee for contemporary banjo playing.

Twain played banjo and Yale played violin in a musical tribute to 9/11 as part of the four-day event.

Banjo players Earl Scruggs and Buddy Wachter also attended the opening of the American Banjo Museum.
