Entertainment at CVI

Jeff & Ileia continue in the Carson Valley Inn Cabaret Lounge through Sunday and Blue Flame plays Oct. 6-11. Monday Night Football plays in the Cabaret Lounge on Mondays.

The father/daughter team of Jeff & Ileia play music ranging from country and oldies to pop chart toppers. They have opened for David Frizzell, Jim Owen and Rose Maddox, and have collectively toured the Northwest for more than 30 years.

Blue Flame is Melissa Dru on lvocals, electric and acoustic guitar and percussion and Mick Hampson on guitar and vocals. The duo brings a variety of sounds from all eras.

Live entertainment presented with no cover and no minimum with five 45-minute shows starting on the hour at 7 p.m. Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and on the half-hour starting at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Monday Night Football in the Cabaret Lounge on Mondays with big-screen action, food and beer specials and prize drawings.

The CVI Cafe Cabaret is open 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Sundays and 5 p.m. until the end of the third quarter on Mondays.

'Moon Over Buffalo' tickets

Carson Valley Community Theatre production of "Moon Over Buffalo" opens Oct. 9 at the CVIC Hall in Minden. Performances are 7:30 p.m. Oct. 9, 10, 16, 17 and 2 p.m. Oct. 11 and 18.

ShowBiz Kids wanted for Halloween theme

Prepare your own act, song, dance, or poetry for the Theatre of Arts Discipline ShowBiz Kids, 7-9 p.m. Oct. 17, at the Copeland Cultural Arts Center ArtBar, 1572 Highway 395, Minden. For performers age 5 and older. No rehearsals.

This month's theme is Halloween. Dress the part, recite Edgar Allan Poe, do a scene from "Dracula," "Psycho" or "Sweeney Todd," or sing "The Time Warp" or the theme from "The Addams Family."
