Sierra Lutheran High School is hosting the 2009 Nevada State 1A Academic Olympics championships this morning at Hilltop Community Church. We wish the Falcons the best in their competition today.
The Green Thumb Garden Club meets 10 a.m. today at Carson Valley United Methodist Church on Centerville Lane.
It will be mostly sunny today with a high near 47 degrees. There'll be a little breeze later in the day. Once the sun goes down, it will get cold though, plunging to 30 degrees by 6 p.m. and 16 degrees by midnight.
