Aviation missionaries guests of Valley church

Alan and Renee Lindvall of Mission Aviation Fellowship will be guests of Christ Presbyterian Church from Nov. 19-23. A gathering and dinner is planned Nov. 20 at the home of Bill and Charlene Rodman, where a DVD of the Lindvalls' mission service in Borneo will be presented.

The Lindvalls speak 9:30 a.m. Nov. 22 during services at Christ Presbyterian Church, 1436 S. Industrial Way, Gardnerville. A harvest brunch after service includes presentation of a DVD about the MAF Kodiak 100 aircraft. To attend either event, call Charlene at 265-7875.

Mission Aviation Fellowship provides aviation support, communication and information technology, and learning technology services, to nearly 600 Christian and humanitarian organizations worldwide. Information about MAF at www.maf.org

The Lindvalls have served with the Mission Aviation Fellowship for 40 years in Honduras, Guatemala, Ecuador and MAF headquarters by providing transportation for missionaries, evangelists, doctors and relief workers.

Alan Lindvall's joy of flying and desire to help people hear of God's love has taken him on more than 15,000 MAF flights. Renee Lindvall provided radio support at home and conducted women Bible studies. The couple speak Spanish and currently serve as hosts for missionaries at MAF headquarters in Nampa, Idaho.
