Elizabeth "Betty" Ann Cordle

Minden resident Elizabeth 'Betty' Ann Cordle, 53, died Oct. 27, 2009.

Born Oct. 11, 1956, in Oakland, Calif. to Mary and Charles Mar, her family moved to Lake Tahoe in 1961, where she graduated from South Tahoe High School.

She married Dan Cordle in Dayton in 1973.

Mrs. Cordle worked for the Nevada Department of Employment and Training for 15 years.

While raising her family, she became very involved with the sport of motocross and enjoyed attending NHRA races.

She is survived by husband Dan; sons Dan "Boo" Cordle Jr. of Las Vegas, Steven Cordle of Sparks; daughter Crystal Smith of Carson City and six granddaughters. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
