The first-place winner in the 2008 Gallery of Trees was decorated by the Hip Hatters of Carson Valley. Enter the Douglas County Historical Society's Gallery of Trees by Nov. 13 at the Carson Valley Museum & Cultural Center, 1477 Highway 395, Gardnerville.
