EDITOR:
I would like to take the time to thank Douglas Disposal for sponsoring the Carson Valley Saints local U12 softball team. In these difficult financial times I am proud to say that I live in Gardnerville. People have not forgotten the needs of our children. I am proud to say that one sponsor was able to help 12 girls and their families represent Carson Valley in a Sacramento Valley softball tournament. We were given such great comments from other teams and their parents on how well behaved and good sportsmanship that we displayed. I am so very proud that the Saints did Carson Valley proud!
Again, deepest thank-yous to Douglas Disposal for making that happen and giving our girls the opportunity to represent our Valley.
