MINDEN

Carson Valley Inn entertainment

Shake, Rattle & Roll continues in the Carson Valley Inn's Cabaret Lounge through Sunday, the Gardners entertain Tuesday and Hindsight appears May 19-24.

Shake, Rattle & Roll has a song list of more than 500 rock 'n roll tunes of the '50s, '60s and '70s. The band is Steve Baldwin on lead vocals, Andy Highhouse, guitar; Michael Tucker, bass and vocals; Alan Zucker on drums and Bill Crane on keyboards and vocals.

Northern Nevada band Hindsight plays rhythm and blues, classic rock 'n roll and pop music. The group is led by keyboardist and sax virtuoso Larry Waller and features Adina Pearl on vocals, Terry Caldwell on guitar, Leonardo Fields on bass and Derrick Autry on drums.

Live entertainment presented with no cover and no minimum with five 45-minute shows starting on the hour at 7 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Carson Valley Arts Council and Wild Horse Productions present Patrick Ball and the Medieval Beasts performing 'The Flame of Love, the Legend of Tristan & Iseult,' Saturday at the CVIC Hall in Minden.

The Flame of Love is a spoken word and musical retelling of the medieval legend of Tristan and Iseult. Doors open at 6 p.m. with a no-host bar by the Carson Valley Community Theater.
