Douglas County Parks & Recreation annual tot egg hunt for children 5 and younger is 11 a.m. April 9 at Lampe Park in Gardnerville. This is a free event thanks to community sponsorship. The Easter bunny will be available for photos.
The recreation department seeks community sponsors to ensure this event remains free to the public. Sponsors will have their organization or business name on flyers that are distributed to all Valley elementary schools and are welcome to have an informational table the day of the event. To become a sponsor, call Amanda, 783-6455.
