Thanks for a great help

EDITOR:

I know I love to read good news in The Record-Courier, so I decided to write to you regarding a pleasant experience I had today in Gardnerville.

I was at the Village Launderette on Highway 395 and while loading my bedspread into one of the big washers there, was approached by the manager (wish I would have gotten his name...sorry).

He not only saved me money by recommending I use a smaller machine, but took the time to give me a great lesson in laundry as well (you don't have to see the bubbles).

I've been in customer service for almost 40 years now and indeed appreciate it when I experience these (no matter how small) acts of kindness.

I think it's something we should all take a lesson from ... particularly in this day and age.

Thank you for restoring my faith in people and putting a smile on my face today.
