Cheryl Anderson of the Delta Kappa Gamma professional honor society of women educators presents a $300 academic scholarship to Douglas High School senior Edna Meza at Douglas Senior Awards Night. The scholarship is awarded annually to a high school and a college student planning to pursue teaching degrees. Not pictured is Nevada State College recipient Jackie Smith.
Douglas High School seniors Nick Hales and Stephanie Harper are awarded $500 athletic scholarships from DHS All-Sports Boosters in memory of long-time Douglas teacher, coach and booster's supporter. Booster president Steve Morgan made the presentation at senior awards night. Also attending are Graham's daughters CoCo Graham, Patti Speer and Suzi Townsell.
