Let's keep teachers

If you support a wage freeze for teachers please shoot a note to the president of the teacher's union at clacey6889@aol.com and the school board president at ctrigg@dcsd.k12.nv.us. There was an article in The Record-Courier a couple of week's back where Superintendent Carol Lark said she favored a salary freeze for teachers because then the school district wouldn't need to lay off any teachers.

My understanding is that salary agreements are negotiated between the superintendent, the school board president and the president of the teacher's union. So if you'd like to see a wage freeze adopted please send a quick note of support and maybe these ladies will find a way to get through this budget crunch without letting our district lose a single teacher.
