Thanks to firefighters

EDITOR:

We would like to thank all firemen who did such a great job on the fire. We have always had an evacuation plan but when the firemen showed up to our house we knew all would work out well and we stopped packing our treasured things. We had the pleasure of having Capt. Pat Robertson, Perry Carlson and Jeff Davies from the Carson City Fire Department at our house. We knew we were in good hands and they kept us informed of what was going on with the fire. We stayed with our home knowing we had them and all the other men and women on the fire to keep all safe.

We would like to give a special thank you to Terry (Sorry we don't have your last name) who lives on Hope Court for coming up in your flatbed truck to offer to help us.

It's nice to know that a perfect stranger would come to our aid and we will never forget your kindness. We also want to thank all our friends who called to offer help.
