The Comstock Cowboys provide music for the annual Candy Dance dinner dance, 4-9 p.m. Sept. 26, in Genoa Town Park.
Trimmer Ranch One caters the ranch-style barbecue dinner of roast beef and chicken, with Basque-style beans, salad, rolls and dessert by J.T. Basque Bar & Dining Room.
Dinner dance tickets are $25 for adults and $15 for children 12 and younger. Tickets available 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Genoa Town Office. Information at www.genoanevada.org or 782-8696.
The Comstock Cowboys recently released a new disc of gospel music, "I Was Never Alone," and will have a CD release party, 2-6 p.m. Saturday at the Bucket of Blood Saloon in Virginia City.
