Juana Murillo

A visitation was Thursday for five-year Gardnerville resident Juana Murillo, 95, who died July 20, 2009, in Carson City.

Born March 8, 1914 in Mexico, she was a resident of Gardnerville for five years.

She enjoyed sewing, liked plants, and even had a pet rabbit.

Most of all, Mrs. Murillo loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her son, Ramon Murillo of Mexico; daughter, Teresa Hernandez Murillo of Mexico, and granddaughters, Guillermina Hernandez, Maria del Socorro, and Petra Hernandez all of Gardnerville; and many other family members.

Visitation was held at Walton's Chapel of the Valley in Carson City. Burial will be in Tijuana, Mexico.
