Rescuers are on their way to a motorcycle versus vehicle accident at Genoa Lane and Highway 395.
The accident occurred at about 8 a.m.
The motorcyclist is a 41-year-old man with injured wrists and trouble breathing, according to a deputy on scene.
One southbound lane is closed while the man is treated.
The Nevada Highway Patrol is en route to the accident.
This is the second accident NHP is working in Douglas County this morning.
Another accident is reported at Kingsbury Grade and Highlands Drive.
Fire units are also on their way to 252 Water Canyon Road in Genoa.
