Ty Eugene Unruh

Ty Eugene Unruh, 47, died June 28, 2009, at his home in Chandler, Ariz.

He was born Jan. 2, 1962, in Larned, Kan., the son of Paul Unruh and Reta Young Samuelsen. He grew up in Carson Valley.

Mr. Unruh is survived by his father, Paul Unruh, Great Bend, Kan.; mother Reta Young (Harold) Samuelsen of Carson City; his uncles, Troy (Roberta) Young of Mesa, Ariz., Victor (Marge) Unruh of Tarpon Springs, Fla., Loren (Gayle) Unruh of Great Bend, and Phillip (Bobbi) Unruh of Houston, Texas; and numerous cousins living in various areas of the U.S.

There will be no memorial service, as Unruh wished to be cremated and his ashes spread in the Sierra Nevada near where he grew up.
