Commercial project to be pulled from Gardnerville agenda

A master plan amendment for a proposed commercial center in the south end of the Valley will be pulled from the Gardnerville Town Board agenda on Tuesday, according to town manager Jim Park.

On Monday, Park said the hearing of the project had been delayed, a decision that came down after the item had been agendized and distributed to the public.

Developers, Peri Enterprises, LLC, were seeking two master plan amendments and a zoning text change to convert about 140 acres of agricultural land and receiving area, near the intersection of Highway 395 and Pinenut Road, into general commercial and more receiving area to accommodate about 1.5 million square feet of commercial space and business park space.
