Chairs are populating Mormon Station State Historic Park in preparation for today's Pops in the Park.
Preparations are being made both by performers and the public for the Reno Philharmonic's performance in Nevada's first settlement.
The 4:15 p.m. performance is free, but fundraisers for the event start at 1 p.m.
Meanwhile in Gardnerville, a few people are waiting for the Carson Valley Pops performance at 2 p.m. in Heritage Park.
