Arts council hosts grant writing class

The Carson Valley Arts Council hosts a grant writing workshop, 10 a.m. to noon Jan. 12, at the Copeland Cultural Arts Center, 1572 Highway 395, Minden. The workshop is presented by Robin Hodgkin from the Nevada Arts Council's Community Arts Development Program and will focus on the preparation of grant applications with written narratives and supplemental materials.

New applicants and current grantees are encouraged attend the workshop to become informed of changes in grants programs and of the increased competition for Nevada Arts Council grants. View changes to the NAC FY 2010 grants programs at www.nevadaculture.org
