Sierra Nevada Active 20-30 Club hosts Looking for Love speed dating, 8 p.m. Feb. 13, at Indigo restaurant & Bar in Minden Village.

The $15 registration fee includes appetizers, one cocktail and the potential to meet a soul mate. Participants must be 21-40 years old.

There will be drink specials, music and a 50/50 raffle, where the winner wins half the money from raffle ticket sales throughout the evening.

This event benefits special needs children of Douglas County. Community projects and fundraisers are at the heart of the Sierra Nevada Active 20-30 Club. Members of the club are 21 to 39 years old and new members are welcome. Celebrating its 10th anniversary in Carson Valley this year, the Sierra Nevada Active 20-30 Club has donated thousands of dollars each year to their community in support of local charities and children's groups, such as Kids & Horses and Austin's House.

Whether assisting physically, mentally or socially challenged children, providing aid to youth groups, or participating at various fundraising events, all members contribute to the betterment and welfare of the community and its youth.
