A small snowstorm turned Genoa Lane white this morning as snow fell throughout the Valley. Chains or four-wheel drive is being required over Carson Pass and on Interstate 80. Snow tires or chains are being required along Highway 395 through the Walker River canyon south of Walker.
Alpine County authorities are reporting a car off the road on Highway 88. There are no injuries in the accident.
