The Abstractly Speaking art show with photos and paintings by Gardnerville resident Pam Brekas runs through Jan. 30 at the Copeland Cultural Arts Center, 1572 Highway 395, Minden. An artist's reception is 6-8 p.m. Tuesday. The arts center is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
