A Clear Creek resident who was run over by his own vehicle on Friday is recovering from his injuries.
The man parked his red Nissan at his Jeffrey Pine home, and climbed out when the vehicle popped out of gear and began to roll.
The man tried to get back into the vehicle to put it back in gear, but he fell in the process and the front tire ran over his head.
He was taken for treatment by Care Flight helicopter. The incident occurred at 3:55 p.m.
