Meddles 3rd at Foot Locker Nationals

Sierra Lutheran senior Wade Meddles turned in one of the best times of his career Saturday, taking third at the Foot Locker Cross Country National Championships with a time of 15:24 on the 5K course.

Lukas Verzbicas of Orlando Hills, Ill., won the national championship with a time of 15:08 and Matt McElroy of Huntington Beach, Calif., was second at 15:23.
