Project Santa wrapping and sorting starts Wednesday

Sorting and wrapping gifts for Project Santa Claus starts 9 a.m. Wednesday at the Douglas County Fairgrounds pavilion building.

The project collected gifts through Angel Trees in the Valley and angels assigned to various churches, businesses, clubs and organizations.

Children 10 years and older may participate in the sorting and wrapping. There will be heaters and hot cider for participants.

Anyone with questions should call Marilyn Malkmus at 782-4931. Contributions are tax deductible, through IRS 501 (c)(3) , ID No. 88-0258742.

Cash donations are accepted and are used to purchase gifts or books for children in the donor's name.
