A memorial service will be held at a later date in Apple Valley, Calif., for 17-year Topaz Ranch Estates resident Janet Lorraine Steiner, 70, who died Aug. 4, 2009 in Carson City.
Born Sept. 20, 1938, in Los Angeles, to Elmer and Launa Smith, she moved to the south county in 1992.
Mrs. Steiner enjoyed garage sales, thrift stores, antique shopping, reading, and visiting the orchards at Apple Hill. She loved spending time with her family.
Mrs. Steiner was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband, Bill Steiner; sons Mark Steiner of Apple Valley, David Steiner of Victorville, Calif., Daniel Steiner of Santa Ana, Calif.; daughter Lorraine Steiner of Wellington and nine grandchildren. Arrangements entrusted to Walton's Chapel of the Valley, Carson City.
