A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Italian Cemetery in Colma, Calif., for Mary-Estelle Verzello, 94, who died July 29, 2009, in Gardnerville.
Born July 12, 1915, in San Francisco to Laurence and Mary Nilausen, she graduated Balboa High School and owned a small sandblasting and painting business.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John J. Verzello on Feb. 26, 1983, in San Francisco.
She is survived by her brother Beorge (Josephine) White; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Burial is in the Colma, Calif. Memorial donations may be made to St. Anthony's Foundation, 150 Golden Gate Ave., San Francisco.
FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
